Yellowstone
National Park: Yellowstone is home to the world
famous Old Faithful Geyser. This natural hot springs geyser
erupts every 90 minutes and draws crowds from all over the
world. It is among several natural geysers in the park. The
park rangers and visitors centers post eruption times so
you can see all of them. Yellowstone River carved a magnificent
gorge with two amazing waterfalls through the multicolored
rock. It is known as the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.
There is a large variety of local wildlife. You will see
them the moment you drive into the part. You may see a herd
of elk grazing beside the road, or a coyote walking through
a car park, or even a gigantic bison walking down the middle
of the highway. The local wild animals are so accustomed
to visitors that they no longer fear humans. The mountain
views just add to the majesty of this park. It is definitely
worth a visit.
Sequoia
and Kings Canyon National Parks: These two parks
located in beautiful California are two of the oldest in
the nation. Sequoia National park is filled with gigantic
and majestic Sequoia trees that are up to three hundred feet
tall and over a hundred feet in diameter. Some of the various
scenes from Star Wars were filmed in this forest. These trees
are enormous and can live fir hundreds of years. Kings Canyon,
the sister part to Sequoia National park is a recent addition
to the area and it does not fail to compare in beauty or
splendor to Sequoia. Seeing this beauty is worth the travel
and no amount of writing can covey the majestic beauty of
seeing this place in person.

Every State has at least one national park. There is usually
camping available nearby as well as a variety of other lodging
options. The rangers and park staff are always friendly and
glad to educate you on the park and the wildlife. There is
always something to see and do in you national parks. Be
sure to bring a camera, because every moment can become a
Kodak moment in the national parks of America. If the park
itself just can't quite keep you or your family entertained,
there is always something fun to do nearby. So stop by one
of your favorite national parks and just enjoy nature. Enjoy
